Please be aware, many companies quote the    "CORE STRENGTH"    of the magnet in lieu of the required    "SURFACE STRENGTH"    If you note the magical gauss rating of 3950 it usually refers to a surface strength of just 1000 which is what most Nationally advertised brands use.   The comments of "our products contain more magnets than other brands" does not equate to more magnetic strength.   Magnets do not increase in strength with quantity, just make the appliance more lumpy, heavy, etc.       Also, at least one company is advertising on the Internet, the magnets being used, I am led to believe, have been previously banned from import due to them containing "LEAD"
